Setup walkthrough (step by step)
Read Before your first send before your first customer handoff. For the full install checklist, see Recommended setup order.
Part A — Before the first send
- Profile — Settings → Profile: contact, phone, email (your business).
- Quote defaults — Applied at guided setup (8.25% sales tax, due on completion). Verify under Settings → Quote & invoice options and Tax & pricing / Finance if needed.
- Client — Clients: contact + phone; email if you will use Email quote.
- Quote — Line items → optional Expected job duration → save (disk) → Lock → send (Text, Email quote, or Share PDF). See Quote drafting & locking.
Part B — After the customer accepts
- Scheduling setup — Settings → Scheduling: work week and hours (Work week & business hours) before booking.
- Approved — On the quote, under Job progress, check Approved.
- Schedule — Schedule or Open calendar to schedule → workday → review Selected time → Schedule for …. Duration comes from Expected job duration on the quote (or your Settings default). See Using the calendar (step-by-step) and Booking a job on the calendar.
- Completed — Mark Completed when the job is done.
- Today — Pipeline and next steps per quote (Today: next steps per quote).
- Archive — Paid (or Refunded), then Archive quote to free plan slots (Plan limits: active quotes & clients). Archive client when done with that profile.
