Work week & business hours
Open Settings → Scheduling.
Everyday scheduling (first card) — Work week, hours, and default job spacing. Most people set these once.
Advanced scheduling — Overtime, timeline speed, lunch blocking, reminders, and personal-calendar phrases. Tap the card header to expand.
Add schedules to device calendar — own card between everyday and advanced.
These controls shape open-slot suggestions, slot badges (OPEN / TIGHT), multi-day job planning, and arrival reminders—not just how the calendar looks.
Work week
Tap the days you work. The schedule calendar highlights those days and mutes the rest. You must select at least one day. Non-work days appear muted on the month grid; you can still book on them with confirmation.
Workday starts / Workday ends
Scheduling suggestions only use times inside this window. End time is exclusive. Lunch is skipped when counting job hours. You can enter 8:00, 17:30, or 5:30 PM. Enter times like 9:00, 17:30, or 5:30 PM. End time is exclusive (a job ending exactly at end time is allowed; the next slot starts after it).
Lunch break / Lunch starts
Unpaid break length excluded from job duration math. Multi-day jobs accrue billable time only in morning and afternoon segments. Set to 0 to turn lunch off entirely. Lunch is non-billable and splits the workday into morning and afternoon segments. Multi-day jobs accrue billable minutes only in those segments. Personal errands during lunch do not remove extra billable time.
Block scheduling during lunch
When on, the lunch window shows as busy on the day-sheet timeline and may add a TIGHT warning when a slot crosses lunch with Split around busy time off.
Trip, buffer, and prep
• Default job duration — default billable length for scheduling; override on each quote under Expected job duration before Lock.
• Default trip (each way) — drive time before arrival and after leaving a job site.
• Buffer between jobs — minimum gap between back-to-back jobs (not required when the job ends at Workday ends or at the overtime cap).
• Overtime before next day — same-day billable minutes after Workday ends (red on the timeline) before hours wrap to the next work day (default 1 hour).
• Prep time — used for arrival reminder alarms; does not block other jobs on the calendar.
• Timeline step repeat rate — hold −15 min or +15 min on the day sheet to step faster (2–12 steps per second).
These three also define travel margins when a multi-day job plans around a personal appointment on the same day (Schedule calendar colors).
Personal calendar phrases
Comma-separated words in event titles that should not block scheduling (for example school, pickup). Matching device or registry rows are ignored for busy time and amber job + personal days.
