No internet, still in business

Invoices when you have no internet
On the device, nothing blocks you from finishing the work. You can build, finalize, and store an invoice locally the same way as online: numbers, line items, PDF or share payload are produced from local data and Internal Settings.
Delivery is the part that needs a channel. Email and many “send” actions require a network path eventually; typical behavior is: finalize locally → mark ready to send (or queue in the mail/SMS app) → the message sends automatically when Wi‑Fi or cellular data returns. Until then, you can still hand the customer a PDF (share to Files, print, or direct share if the target works offline), take payment offline, and record payment in the app.
Operator takeaway: you never lose the ability to bill for work already captured; you only defer electronic delivery until a route exists, or you deliver the document physically or through a local handoff.
Master password & data portability
- One password: Set your master password during onboarding. It handles app restores and authorizes all secure exports.
- Protected exports: Standard password-protected .zip files (readable on PC/Mac) using your single master password—no per-file prompts.

Do I need a cloud account to use N78-Ops every day?
No. Day-to-day work—clients, quotes, schedules, jobs, and invoices—runs on your phone without signing into a Nivo78 cloud. Optional Google sign-in, Drive backup, and Play Billing are extras you turn on when you want them.
Does N78-Ops work offline?
Yes. You can create and edit clients, quotes, schedules, and jobs without internet. Invoices and PDFs are built on the device. Email or share actions may wait for a connection; you can still hand off a PDF in person or queue mail until data returns.
How does calendar integration work?
With your permission, the app can read calendar events for scheduling hints and conflict checks. New jobs open your calendar app with a prefilled event—you review and save there. The app does not silently write to your calendar database.
What are Basic, Professional, and Premium?
Basic is the free tier for everyday solo-operator work (on current builds: up to 20 clients and 10 active quotes). Professional and Premium are annual in-app subscriptions (Google Play Billing where offered) for higher caps and advanced capabilities—Finance, Item Catalog, Save for accountant (ZIP), optional desktop accounting export in Settings, Insights, Google Drive backup, and more. Your build may show tier availability in Settings.
What is the difference between the website beta APK and Google Play?
The beta is a time-limited sideload debug build for testers: download the APK from this site, follow the install checklist, and send feedback. The Play listing (when live) is the supported install path for production releases and subscription checkout.
Can I export or back up my data?
Yes. You can export, back up, and share files to locations you choose (document picker, email, cloud storage you control). Optional Google Drive backup uses your Google account. Each export asks password-protected or plain for that run only. Password-protected files use the same master password you set during setup (backups, restore, CSV zips, accountant ZIP)—not a separate password each time. On Professional and Premium, **Save for accountant (ZIP)** always includes spreadsheet and HTML quote files; turn **QuickBooks export** on or off under **Settings → Data & backups** (or **Data & files**) to include or hide desktop import files and related handoff screens. Plain exports are your responsibility to protect.
Is N78-Ops Android only?
Android is available now (beta sideload and, when published, Google Play). A shared core is designed so iOS can follow the same business rules later; check this site for updates.
Do you sell my business data?
No. Nivo78 Mobile Apps, LLC does not sell your personal or business data to data brokers, and the app does not use your information for third-party advertising. See the privacy policy for full detail.
How do quotes and invoices reach customers?
Quotes and invoices are built on your device, then emailed as a secure view link when online (one tap opens the document in the browser). **Settings → Business profile → Hosted quote and invoice links in email** is on by default; turn it off to attach a PDF instead. If the link cannot be created (offline or upload failure), the app falls back to a PDF attachment. You can also text a plain summary or share a PDF from the quote editor. We store hosted document HTML briefly on Nivo78 servers until the link expires.
Can I schedule repeating jobs?
Yes. On Calendar, when you book a visit, use Repeat for weekly, every-two-weeks, or monthly presets—or open More repeat options for patterns like every other Monday or the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Repeats are stored in N78-Ops first; your phone calendar app still lets you review before saving.
Can I split a quote into deposit and progress payments?
On Premium, Payment milestones on a quote let you split deposit, progress, and final payments with due rules (on approval, job date, completion, or a calendar date). Today highlights open deposits and milestones. N78-Ops does not run card payments—you still collect money with your usual tools and mark paid in the app.
Will I get a copy when I text or email a customer?
Optional. **Settings → Profile** includes **Copy me on customer texts and emails** (off by default). When you turn it on, customer email drafts can add your business email in Cc/Bcc and customer texts can include your business phone as a second recipient so your messaging app keeps a copy. Leave it off for customer-only handoffs.
Can I send data to my accountant or desktop accounting software?
On Professional and Premium, use **Settings → Secure → Data & files** (or **Data & backups** on Basic) and tap **Save for accountant (ZIP)**. The pack always includes a spreadsheet summary and standalone HTML per quote. **QuickBooks export** (on by default on paid tiers) adds dashboard **Accountant Data**, incremental handoff on **Today**, and optional QuickBooks Desktop `.iif` / journal files inside the ZIP. Turn that switch off if you do not use QuickBooks—a cleaner home screen and smaller ZIPs.
