Recommended setup order

Use this order on a new install (or after you skipped guided setup). For a pre-send checklist only, read Before your first send first.

1 · Profile (Settings → Profile)
Contact name, phone, and email so quotes, invoices, and customer handoffs look professional. Optional: business name, address, logo, master password.

2 · Quote & invoice options (Settings → Quote & invoice options)
Guided setup applies defaults automatically: 8.25% sales tax (exclusive), due on completion, 0% down payment, 30-day quote validity, payment methods off until you add them. Open this screen to match your locale, add Venmo/Zelle on invoices, tune follow-up timing, or turn on hosted email links (off by default). Sales tax and federal reserve also live under Tax & pricing (Basic) or Finance (Pro/Premier).

3 · Scheduling — work week & hours (Settings → Scheduling)
Not required before your first send — do this after the customer Approves the quote and before you book on Schedule. Tap the days you work and set Workday starts / Workday ends so open-slot seeding and slot badges use the right window. Full detail: Work week & business hours.

4 · First client (Clients or guided setup step)
Every quote belongs to someone. Add one client row before your first estimate.

5 · First quote (Clients / Quotes or guided setup step)
Add line items, save when the disk icon appears, lock, then send. See Before your first send for the send checklist.

First-run wizard note: Guided setup runs Profile → first client → first quote; quote defaults apply automatically. Step Scheduling is not in the wizard—open Settings → Scheduling yourself after approval when you are ready to book.
