Recommended setup order
Use this order on a new install (or after you skipped guided setup). For a pre-send checklist only, read Before your first send first.
1 · Profile (Settings → Profile)
Contact name, phone, and email so quotes, invoices, and customer handoffs look professional. Optional: business name, address, logo, master password.
2 · Quote & Invoice Options (Settings → Quote & Invoice Options)
Defaults for tax, payment terms, payment methods on quotes, hosted email links (off by default), quote validity, follow-up timing, and priority strategy. Tap ? on that screen for the overview. If you skipped guided setup, also open Tax & pricing (Basic) or Finance (Pro/Premier) for sales tax and related defaults.
3 · Scheduling — work week & hours (Settings → Scheduling)
Not required before your first send — do this after the customer Approves the quote and before you book on Schedule. Tap the days you work and set Workday starts / Workday ends so Best fit and slot badges use the right window. Full detail: Work week & business hours.
4 · First client (Clients or guided setup step)
Every quote belongs to someone. Add one client row before your first estimate.
5 · First quote (Clients / Quotes or guided setup step)
Add line items, save when the disk icon appears, lock, then send. See Before your first send for the send checklist.
First-run wizard note: Guided setup runs Profile → Quote & Invoice Options → client → quote. Step 3 (Scheduling) is not in the wizard—open Settings → Scheduling yourself after approval when you are ready to book.
