Settings quick reference

N78-Ops on Google Play targets Android 10+ phones and tablets. On-device storage paths use the lowercase n78ops folder name—same app.

From the dashboard, open Settings under System (gear icon). Here is what each Settings label opens:

  • Profilecontact name, phone, and email are required for setup and professional handoffs; full address and business name are optional until you need them. Optional client booking link (included in smart quote texts when set), and what appears on printed quotes. Copy me on customer texts and emails (default off) BCCs your profile email on customer mail handoffs and adds your business phone on customer SMS when enabled—see Copy me on customer texts and emails. Hosted quote and invoice links in email (default off) adds a secure view link in customer mail when online, with PDF fallback when the link cannot be created—tap ? beside that toggle on Settings → Business profile for detail. On Settings → Business profile, tap the ? beside the Business profile title at the top of the form for edit/save, required-field legend, and section tips.
  • Finance (Pro or Premium) — sales tax, discounts, mileage, advanced tax options.
  • Tax & pricing (Basic) — sales tax, federal reserve, cash-style amounts (exact cents vs nearest $0.05), default new-quote line pricing (tax added at end vs prices include tax).
  • Theme — dark/light, text size, 12-hour vs 24-hour clock.
  • Locale & startupcurrency (three-letter code like USD), short date format, calendar week starts Sunday or Monday. On Pro or Premium, cash display and default quote pricing also appear here (they are under Tax & pricing on Basic).
  • Scheduling — work days and hours, buffers, trip default, and Quotes & automation (quote validity, auto-follow-up, draft quote reminder) that set how aggressively open quotes sort to the top on Today and Quotes. On time/duration rows, the muted label and typed value stay on the left, the unit (min, hr, …) sits toward the center-right, and the ? help icon (when shown) is on the far right.
  • Quotes & Todaydeclared quote priority strategy plus optional Assisted action bar. Tap ? on the title row for the overview; tap ? beside the switch for tier-specific assisted detail. Full strategy: Quote priority strategy.
  • Secure (Pro or Premium) — Data & files (Backup, Import backup, CSV spreadsheet export, Restore on listed files), password-protected vs plain per export (uses your setup master password when protected—see Help Protecting exports & sensitive data), factory reset.
  • Data & backups (Basic) — same backup/import/restore as Data & files, without the Secure hub name.
  • Help & feedback — on the main Settings grid (email support form).

Destructive actions ask for confirmation in a dialog first — see Accident protection (confirm first).
