Quick start
N78-Ops is the public product name (Google Play, website, and this Help). You may still see n78ops in a few technical spots (package ID, folder names)—same app.
Supported release: Android 10 or newer phones and tablets via Google Play. Other experimental builds are not supported for production business use.
Fast path (read this first):
- Open Home or the dashboard (tap the house icon when you’re elsewhere). The dashboard groups tools under Work, Finance & insights, and System.
- Clients → add a person.
- Open their quote, add line items, then tap the save (disk) icon when it appears for unsaved changes.
- Lock the quote (toolbar closed padlock) when the estimate is ready to share. A draft must be locked before you can send it to the client (text, email, share PDF, or approval pack).
- Send it from the quote using text, email, Share PDF, or approval pack — after a successful send handoff it shows Sent.
- When they accept, mark Approved on the quote.
- Schedule → pick a workday and complete the booking flow.
- Today → review money in/out, pipeline rows, and jobs for this calendar day; each quote row shows status and the next step. Under Settings → Quotes & Today, use the page title ? for hub overview and the assisted switch (and its ?) for the optional one-tap lifecycle strip on Today and in quotes.
Getting paid: N78-Ops does not run card payments inside the app — you collect money outside the app (cash, check, tap-to-pay reader, invoice link, and so on). When money has cleared, mark Paid on the quote. Premium: split a quote into payment milestones with due rules in the quote editor; Today surfaces open deposits under Deposits & milestones.
