This Privacy Policy describes how Nivo78 Mobile Apps, LLC (“we,” “us”) offers N78-Ops (“the App”) and how the App handles information when you use our Android application. It is provided to help you understand our practices and to meet the transparency expectations of app stores (including Google Play) and applicable laws. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
N78-Ops is the public product name for this Android application and how it appears on Google Play. The app is published by Nivo78 Mobile Apps, LLC. The technical Android package identifier is com.mike.nivo78ops; it identifies the app binary on your device and in the Play Console.
For privacy inquiries, use the contact path described in Section 13 below.
Business and account data you enter. The App is designed to work primarily on your device. Information you add—such as clients, quotes, tasks, notes, expenses, job photos you attach to quotes, and related business records—is stored locally on your device unless you enable optional cloud features described below.
Exports, backups, and sharing. When you run export, backup, accountant-pack (ZIP), or similar flows, the App writes files to locations you choose (for example through Android’s document picker or your email app). For each export you choose password-protected or plain for that run only. Password-protected files use the master password you set during setup (the same password used for restore)—not a separate per-export password. Plain exports are readable by anyone who receives the file. Password-protected .zip portable backups are encrypted for confidentiality in transit to your destination, but anyone with that master password can decrypt them. Plain .json portable backups are not encrypted—treat them like any sensitive file. Accountant-pack ZIP files always include spreadsheet and HTML quote files on tiers that offer that export; optional QuickBooks import files are included only when QuickBooks export is enabled in Settings → Data & backups (or Data & files on paid tiers). We do not receive copies of those files unless you deliberately send them to us.
Quote and invoice delivery. When you email a quote or invoice, the App prepares delivery in one of two ways, depending on your connection and document size:
Share PDF, print, text, or other channels that do not use the hosted upload path follow PDF or plain-text behavior for those flows. You choose when to send; review the draft in your mail client before sending.
When you enable Copy me on customer texts and emails in Settings → Profile (off by default), customer email drafts may include your business email as Cc/Bcc and customer texts may include your business phone as an additional recipient. Your mail and messaging apps send the message; we do not receive a copy unless you send it to us.
In-app feedback email. If you use a feedback screen and send mail through your own email app, we receive the message you compose. The draft includes a device and app version block for triage, plus aggregate counts (clients, quotes, invoice-sent status, tasks, expenses, and similar), non-identifying profile preferences (for example date format, clock style, scheduling defaults), and registry toggle flags—not full client lists, quote line items, dollar amounts, or complete business record dumps. Builds that show Include extended diagnostics may, when enabled, also append a redacted registry key list (presence and size only). Sideload beta feedback includes the aggregate configuration block but not the optional extended registry list. Review the draft in your mail client before sending.
We do not sell your personal or business data to data brokers. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or behavioral ad profiling. The App does not read the advertising ID for ads and does not read phone state for advertising or analytics.
Payment-related data. The App does not collect or process your customers’ credit or debit card numbers for job payments. When you collect payment outside the App (cash, check, card reader, payment link, etc.), those providers’ terms apply to their checkout—not to card data inside N78-Ops. Google Play Billing processes annual in-app subscriptions for Professional and Premium tier upgrades where your build offers them (see Sections 5 and 6). Some distribution builds are Basic-only or may unlock tiers under internal test policy without a Play purchase; those builds do not use Play checkout for upgrades.
Tax. You enter tax rates and business data on your device. Quote tax lines are calculated from the rules you configure in the App. Tax remittance, filings, and compliance with your authorities are your responsibility.
The App may request access only as needed for features you use:
You can allow or deny several of these in Android Settings; some features may be limited if permission is denied.
If you enable cloud backup or sync features that use Google Drive, your data is transmitted using your Google account and stored in a folder the App uses under your control. We do not access the contents of your broader Google Drive. Google’s processing of your Google account data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
Job and client payments. N78-Ops does not provide an in-app card form for your customers’ job payments. If you use a third-party processor, reader, or payment link outside the App, that provider’s privacy policy governs their checkout.
Google Play Billing processes annual in-app subscriptions for Professional and Premium tier upgrades where your install supports Play billing. Google’s privacy policy applies to that checkout experience. We do not receive your full payment card number from Google Play; payment processing is handled by Google and the card networks.
Basic tier on Google Play. Where the App offers subscription upgrades through Play, you may use Basic without a subscription until 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time, August 1, 2026 (United States Eastern). After that instant, continuing use requires an active Professional or Premium subscription as implemented in the App.
The App may rely on services including, where applicable:
Those providers process data under their own policies when their SDKs, APIs, or servers are used by the App or by your configuration.
We use industry-standard protections where applicable, including Android’s EncryptedSharedPreferences for sensitive app configuration and encryption appropriate to high-sensitivity content (for example AES-GCM for certain vault-style data). Sensitive flows may use the system’s secure-window flag to reduce screenshot and screen-recording exposure where supported. Hosted document upload and customer view pages are served over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; you should protect device access with a strong screen lock and treat view links like sensitive business correspondence—anyone with the link can read the page until it expires or is revoked.
Sensitive areas may use biometric unlock (fingerprint or face) or device PIN/pattern/password through the system. Biometric data is processed on your device by the operating system; we do not receive a copy of your fingerprint or face template.
This section supplements Section 3. Calendar read access is used only for features you use (scheduling, conflict awareness, restore checks) and is not used for marketing. New calendar entries are created through your calendar app after you confirm.
Data you create remains on your device until you delete it in the App, use built-in reset or wipe options where available, or uninstall the App (which removes application data from the device according to Android behavior). Optional cloud copies depend on your Google Drive settings and what you sync.
Hosted quote and invoice pages. Copies created for email view links are kept on our servers until the expiration time (typically 90 days after upload) or until revoked on the server. After that, the view link stops working. Your authoritative business records remain on your device unless you delete them in the App.
Deleting data in the App. Removing business records (for example clients, quotes, tasks, or vault entries) and using factory reset require explicit confirmation in on-screen dialogs: a stray tap alone should not erase data. You can cancel those dialogs to leave information unchanged.
The App is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by your region). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the App and at nivo78.com/ops/privacy/, and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
