App Publishing Assistant

PUBLISH_PREP · ONE PROJECT · GOOGLE · APPLE · MICROSOFT

App Publishing Assistant is a publishing preparation system — think TurboTax for app stores. Describe your application once, then collect everything Google Play, the Apple App Store, and the Microsoft Store require: metadata, credentials, images, and checklists — in plain language, with your project folder as the single source of truth.

Prepare once. Publish everywhere.

One project, every store

Declare your intended stores and devices once. App Publishing Assistant filters a color-coded master checklist so you always know what is missing — without reading three different portal manuals.

Plain-language field guides

Each wizard input explains what it is, what it is used for, size and format requirements, and where the answer is stored on disk — built for builders who are not store-policy experts.

Optional store setup guides

Separate reference pages walk through developer account enrollment, testing tracks, and public release steps for each store — work that happens on the store website, not inside the app.

Credential vault on your machine

Sensitive tokens and secrets stay encrypted in your project folder. Copy-only access — values are never shown on screen after save.

Common questions

Does App Publishing Assistant upload my app to the stores?
Not in the first release. The primary mission is preparation: validated metadata, generated images, ordered export packages, and readiness checklists. Direct store API upload is planned for a later version.
Who is it for?
Independent developers and solo operators who built an app and need a trustworthy checklist from “I have code” to “I have everything required to publish.” You do not need to memorize package IDs, screenshot sizes, or vault jargon.
Where does my data live?
In a portable project folder next to your source code — under a hidden .apa metadata directory. The workspace registry on your computer remembers which project you were working on. No cloud account is required for the desktop preview.
Which stores are supported?
Google Play, Apple App Store, and Microsoft Store are in scope. You choose which stores apply to your project at intake; checklist rows and optional guides filter to match.
