N78-Ops is a front-end field tool — not an accounting system. Whatever accounting software you use is your system of record and the single source of truth for your books, balances, and tax figures. N78-Ops helps you capture jobs and hand off clean data to it; if a number ever disagrees, your accounting software is correct, not N78-Ops.

Quote priority strategy (declared)

Under Settings → Scheduling → Quotes & automation:
• Auto-follow-up — how long after Sent before follow-up work jumps up the list.
• Draft quote reminder — how long a Draft can sit before it demands attention.
• Quote validity — when old estimates stop competing with real pipeline work.
Tune those three so Today and Quotes match how aggressively you want to be nudged—without living in the app all day.
What stays on you (by design)
• The physical job and customer relationships.
• Collecting payment (cash, check, card reader, invoice link—your tools).
• Your books and the source of truth — your accounting software (whichever one you use) is the system of record. Reconcile, issue formal invoices, and file from there; N78-Ops just hands it clean data.
