Quote drafting & locking

Quotes stay in Draft (gray) while you edit line items. Tap the lock icon when the estimate is ready to share—the status becomes Locked (blue) until you actually send. Then send by text (smart message can include the quote # and your client booking link when you set that URL under Settings → Profile), email (secure view link in the message body when online and Hosted quote and invoice links in email is on under Settings → Business profile; otherwise a PDF attachment), Share PDF (system share sheet), or Approval pack — the same PDF document plus an inline reply to accept footer, opened in your phone’s pick-an-app list so you can pick SMS, email, Drive, etc. After a successful send handoff, the quote shows Sent (orange). When they accept, mark Approved on the quote in the app. Change work using the unlock (open padlock) icon when the app allows it.
