Payment milestones & due dates
This topic covers a Premium-tier capability in the full Play Store N78-Ops release. It is not included in N78-Ops Community Edition (Basic tier).
Premium: In the quote editor, scroll to Payment milestones to split a quote into deposit, progress, and final payments (or your own labels and amounts).
Getting started
• Tap Use deposit / progress / final for a three-way split based on the quote total.
• Tap Add milestone for extra rows, or edit labels and amounts on each row.
• Due on each row: On approval, On job date, On completion, or On date (calendar date in YYYY-MM-DD).
Totals must match
If milestone amounts do not add up to the quote total, a warning appears with Rebalance from total to scale rows proportionally.
Back to one full payment
Remove milestone rows until the section is empty (or leave a single row for the full quote total). With no saved milestones, the quote behaves like a single balance due.
Collecting money
N78-Ops still does not run card payments inside the app. Use Record deposit / milestone actions and mark Paid when money clears outside the app. Today lists open items under Deposits & milestones with due timing and overdue highlighting.
